ytd went out wif carol to buy shanne's pressie~ quite an easy task cos we all know wat she wants.. a Tiffany & Co. charm bracelet~! guess the price man!!! 375 fat bucks... haa but she likes it so we get it~! 21st birthday mah..

den dinner is on carol~! haha thanx geR!! we went to my 2nd frequent place other den ntu.. KALLANG!! haha olways row pass the oasis... the restaurant with spiral staircases.. the bridges.. well they look different at nite u know... much more beautiful..

dinner at cosy bay~ we went all the way up to the top and there are 3 couples there haha dun care! we jus sit at the table between dem =p the ambience is really nice... not v bright and then v windy.. u can see the calm water of kallang basin... and i saw dragonboats too~ guess they are the N teams cos only they can train at nite... mayb ah hee is on the boat! haha the food is not bad too.. there's music playing.. kinda romantic~ yah but carol n i dun need this kind of romantic-ness lah~! haa

today mugging at lwn for a short while only den ost!! poolrow is okay and ade brought her phone in to video us!! wah.. first time i see the way i row man~ haha hmm look okie la.. need to send it to some pro to check mayb~!

Legs n paddLE 2005!

13 march.. chinese garden.. tag: 5005

Ooo i feel it, butterflies in my stomach as daddy walk me to chinese garden. (althou i lived in taman jur for 20 yrs, din noe it is so near my hse ha!) there wasnt many ppl, very unlike a event like this. women's singles had started, reached there in time to see ben n jasmine lao shi came up from their canoe. and benben reaLLY takes her time to change to shoes!! those in singles catergory are all so zai~ ben was 'tui' cos she got stitch during the run.. (its okie, there's olways a next yr!)

9 teams in women's open and we saw 2 teams of nus dragonboaters. haha yufen and i were like, "okie, we aim position no.8 ya!" the 3.2 run aint easy man! quite a few times i want to stop & rest but i noe i cant! gotta run my best cos i cant canoe for god sake... its freaking hot n the route twist n turn (i prefer running to 1st bridge). managed to clock a decent timing but i'm sort of in a daze and i got problems changing to sandals man!

launch off and yufen ferry me out! hahaha hey! but she's the one who told me to take a rest n catch my breath! once on canoe, i'm a gd ger and followed instructions! harder on left.. sweep water.. and by the 2nd buoy, my left arm dieded! i got no energy left to talk, think i'm paddling real pathetically la! yufen's really encouraging.. telling me to enjoy the race, look at the kiddy dragonboats by the shore, relax, twist ur body, use ur trunk.... haha thanks partner!! going under 3 bridges, we are done with 2.5~ and jasmine is there screaming for yufen to hurry!!

den i saw dad back with a camera..haa just in time to see me finish! they say i look like dad and benben say, "but ur dad looks friendly and u dont."

after 20min, ci'er's sprinting back! yea she n yi li dan are 1st~!! haha yufen's 2nd.. at her last stretch, jas ben n me were shouting "hou mian de lai liao!!" haha we lied, of cos~ =p she's damn pisssed with the marshal cos she told her the wrong direction!! duH~ nus organisers, wake up leh~

ham fel and ang suat came for their mixed race and ya we sure have lots of advice for them. on 2nd thought, i sld not have told dem that the run is quite xiong.. but of cos they can do it la!! good one~! fel n zhanjing were steady too. overtook 5 canoes leh!! think they all had fun =)

am i back for it at 2006? dunno, if my canoe skill improve den i'll consider. n yeah i had a great time there with the geRS again!

feels gd~ think after the little sharing session, evryone is feeling uplifted, a surge of motivation gushing thru and cant wait to row! this is the 2nd time individuals open up to share their feelings and also how each of us fight fatique on boat. comparing to the 1st one at penang, i feel evryone has matured. now we are clearer abt our directions, our expectations, our destination.

what keep all of us going is almost the same actually. is for the person sitting on ur left/right, front and back. for the person who is stretching n punching, pulling n kicking together with u. is evryone that keeps evryone going~

i like wat ade says, yao dui de qi zi ji... i olways believe that it is you yourself that you should never lie. be honest, you r your own judge. gotta train urself mentally. i would rather discover it myself den one day someone slap it right across my face.

did not really talk alot today, olways been a more passive person, aint articulate.. haa ade smsed me to get the ball rolling but it got stucked la~

when marlau (who is sitting at a corner, with cobwebs) came to talk to us, its like 'woO' definitely speaking frm experience. i esp like wat she says abt focusing at that very moment, that very stroke. it is not only 100%.. is 300%~!! 100 for start up, 100 for maintainence, 100 for last charge. hope in the future i can share something with my juniors too~

btw, feel quite sinful cos i eat Mc... okie i promise, this is the LAST!!! promise~

last sea trng today, rowing is okie, feels good and not that tiring, all thanx to the rain~ after trng we had sweet juicy 15 bucks red watermelons, thanx to ham =) unlike other trng days at sdba, we were all laid back and relax today.. gers sitting around chatting, munching big slices of watermelon *slurp* for a moment i just forgot abt washing and keeping the sponges and bottles.. sitting facing the sea, enjoy the breeze and chill with xiao jas and huimin. den as usual they started singing haha yea i like to sing too but the songs i knew are kinda limited la.

pwd is the hottest hang out place for us now, auntie must b real happy to see us on evry sat n sun. guess a few gers are really sick of the food there. ppl like jasmine lao shi refuse to eat anything there~ haha i'm still fine with eating there though i olways eat hai xian cao fan with ice-milo~

meet up with jun, siok, min and yy to celebrate fang's 21st bday at westmall. usual style of celebrating bday - olways pretend to like so qiao to meet at the same place, trying to surprise the bday ger~ den hiding the small bday cake, light the candle under the table and trying to surprise the bday ger again~ hahaha ah min, for my bday pls try something new cos i already know step 1 to 3 by heart liao... it was quite sometime since i gather with the few of them. it feels quite bad cos i did not spend as much time with dem as i used to. but i was touched when min asked me "why talk on the phone for so long, ni shi bu shi you xin shi?" ya, i do have something on my mind. and thats db. sometimes i do not want to talk abt db stuff when i'm wif my frens. not that i do not want them to know but i jus feel the time spending wif dem should be about dem.

had a little plan since ytd's ching gay. i want to see the lightings on the trees all the way up from my hse. think the whole stretch is about 3 bus stops distance. trees at jurong finally got a chance to look like trees at orchard~ haha its really beautiful. i purposely took a bus home, went to the upper deck to sit by the window and ready to feed my eyes. BUT they are stingy la~! they did not on the lights cos ching gay's over. but it was only like ytd lor.. they can still leave it on for a few more nites wat... bOo. disappointed.

oh yah, ang suat must b happy cos i've got a blog. haa
