theNIGHTsafari~!

wHeee.. it was planned a long to ensure that jiaqi can go night safari with me after exams! haa

friday night with no training on sat morning, a rare chance for some night outings and i never been to there before, so he's bringing me =)

we went to cck to take bus 927 and we didnt know the frequency is like every half an hour, so we went to fill up our tummy first.
the bus there isnt v long, i think 20mins.

first stop is the animal show. it was pretty interesting to watch it in the night and of cos no flashed photography and of cos, some idiots will just take a pic with the flash. haha but everyone will 'OEIiiiiiiii' when they saw a flash. haha but many of them are not locals you see.. mayb oei is a universal language too. heh
one of the tricks they play again and again is the animal-go-missing act. haha this time its a big python call maggie. then after they found it the host want to invite a macho man up on the stage, i was so eager to push jq up but he doesnt want to.. haha (there goes a free ben & jerry's). an angmoh went up instead and they threw the big snake over his shoulders la. i think the snake is heavy.. it takes 4 of the staffs to carry it. ha

den the tram ride! its abt 45 mins long and bring you ard to see some animals that you wont get to see on the walking trails. i think the animals were too close to us for comfort. jq and i keep thinking that the deers or the hyhenas can easily jump out! we saw alot of deers and cows thou. haha all the predators were like asleep, like the lions, the tigers, the leopards, the aligators... (Zzzz) heh make me fall asleep on the tram too. ha i dunno why i got tired.. must be the work in the day!

after the tram, we went to walk around on the walking trails. i honestly felt abit scared... cos its like dark and like not many ppl walking ard... i was afraid that we went on the wrong path and end up in some animals' den la!! haha useless worries i know.. actually i'm more scared that some insects fly into my hair la. heh it was quiet most animals are not that responsive other than the otters. they were so noisy and they keep looking at you and finding ways to get closer to you. or mayb becos we have food. heh

went to see the leopards and it was sleeping just beside the glass pane. wow it is BIG! imagine it is your pet cat.. haha i wish~ seldom u can get to see it so close up you know.. very nice fur they have.. and think they get abit senile after being kept in the place for long, the other leopard just keep pacing up and down in circles..

the tiger is next interesting one. it was AWAKE. oki, more than that. it was standing and facing the glass pane, there were 2 angmohs squatting in front looking at it. den when jq and i were walking towards the tiger, it suddenly ran forward to the glass pane and the 2 angmohs jumped! haha scared them. the tiger must be thinking, stupig humans.. easily entertained... haha den the tiger bo hiew us already.. it walked away.. heh

we went into a room with bats inside, i was quite reluctant at first but i went in in the end, hiding behind jq.. haa. the bats were big lah. i tot they were the small small ones we saw sometimes on the trees. no lor, times 5 man. Eeee you can easily use your hand to touch it lor.. they were so NEAR! haa den i dragged jq out already.

was really tired after we finished walking around... and i slept all the way back... Zzz

poor darling have to cab his way home from my place.. :(

it was fun! i love it...

this weekend just flew passed~ boo

next week end will be fun too cos its mother's DAy and Jiaqi's birthday!

endure the WEEK!!! guess it wont b that bad cos i have trngs to look forward to now!
